DrumFleet started as the internal tooling for a washer and dryer rental fleet. Not a product plan, not a market study — a spreadsheet that had stopped scaling, and a Saturday morning disappearing every week into working out who had paid.
The stack was the usual one: a spreadsheet for machines, the Stripe dashboard for money, a Word document emailed around for contracts, and a phone full of half-remembered promises about who was late. Each piece worked. Together they meant the admin was eating the exact hours the business was supposed to buy back.
So we built the tool shaped like the business instead of the other way round: machines with a serial and a payback number, autopay that starts on install day, contracts e-signed before the truck is loaded, pickups that get scheduled rather than remembered. Then other operators started asking whether they could use it.

The grace window, the retrieval clause, the relocation fee, the late-payment ladder — none of it is a guess about how this business works. It is how this business works, on machines that are in somebody's apartment right now.
It is not laundromat software, and it is not generic rental software.
No coin counting, no hourly bookings, no event calendar. Monthly rent on appliances placed in homes, and the paperwork that keeps it legal.

When something is wrong, you are not explaining your business model to a support tier before anyone can help you.
Your data stays yours.
Export machines, renters, agreements and payments to CSV whenever you want, on every plan and even after your trial has run out. There is no lock-in worth building on a tool this small.
